Tecumseh will showcase a new generation of compressors and refrigeration systems at Chillventa 2026, taking place October 13–15 at NürnbergMesse in Nuremberg, Germany, Hall 4, Booth 4-307.
With a growing portfolio of solutions designed around lower-GWP refrigerants, energy efficiency and changing application requirements, Tecumseh will present technologies covering a broad range of commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning applications. The exhibition will also provide an opportunity for customers, partners and industry professionals to discover the company's latest developments under its new global brand identity.
A broader portfolio for the transition to lower-GWP refrigerants
The transition toward natural and lower-GWP refrigerants is creating new technical requirements for OEMs, installers and refrigeration professionals. At Chillventa, Tecumseh will demonstrate how its latest compressor and system platforms are designed to address these requirements while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, flexibility and ease of integration.
The portfolio on display will include solutions for R290 & A2L refrigerants, ranging from compact variable-speed compressors to larger-capacity Scroll technologies, and complete condensing-unit solutions.
New compressor platforms for flexible, efficient refrigeration
Among the key technologies presented at Chillventa, will be Tecumseh's latest compressor platforms for light commercial and commercial applications.
Nexus extends Tecumseh's portfolio with fixed speed compressor solutions for R290 applications, covering a displacement range between 2 and 15cc. The platform is designed to provide OEMs with efficient solutions for equipment where energy performance and refrigerant flexibility are increasingly important.
Vector is a compact variable-speed compressor platform using R290, between 4 and 13cc, providing continuous capacity modulation to match changing cooling requirements. Its compact format makes it suited to food service and retail applications.
Axion combines compact design and efficiency for applications using R290 and A2L refrigerants, covering 22 to 33cc range, supporting equipment manufacturers as they adapt to the increasing use of lower-GWP alternatives.
Tecumseh will also showcase Spirion, its Scroll compressor family for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications, going up to 13HP. The portfolio includes solutions for R290, A2L and A1 refrigerants, with capacities extending to meet more demanding applications.
Together, these compressor platforms give OEMs greater choice when designing equipment around different capacities, operating conditions and refrigerant requirements.
Condensing-unit solutions designed for next-generation applications
Tecumseh will also highlight its latest developments on the systems side.
The new Orion, a global fractional systems platform engineered to support a broad range of refrigeration applications. Designed with a compact footprint and multi-refrigerant capability, Orion is built to support with flexibility the expanding needs of refrigeration equipment manufacturers worldwide.
Astra is Tecumseh's new outdoor condensing-unit platform for A2L refrigerants, providing a future-ready solution for commercial refrigeration applications, as the industry continues its transition toward lower-GWP refrigerants.
The Silensys Scroll Inverter combines a variable-speed scroll compressor with optimized acoustic treatment to deliver high efficiency and exceptionally low noise. Available in a 3 to 19 kW range, by adjusting the compressor speed, the Silensys can provide around 20M energy saving.
Technology focused on real-world applications
Rather than focusing on individual components alone, Tecumseh's Chillventa showcase will demonstrate how its technologies can be combined to address the needs of complete refrigeration applications.
From compact variable-speed compressors to scroll technologies and condensing units, the portfolio is designed to give customers greater flexibility in selecting the right technology for their equipment while balancing energy efficiency, sustainability, reliability, noise performance and installation requirements.
Engineers, product specialists and sales teams will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss applications, technical requirements and new projects with customers and partners.
