Electric motors are one of the most important products that make up the hidden infrastructure of our modern world. Hidden even deeper inside our compressors Tecumseh has been producing motors for years.

There are no Tecumseh Pumps, but as part of the Tecumseh family MP Pumps has grown to provide numerous centrifugal pumping solutions. Ranging in capacity from 15 to 1,500 gallons per minute, MP Pumps supplies centrifugal pumps which are used in the agricultural, marine and transportation industries, as well as in a variety of commercial and industrial applications and end products. MP Pumps sells both to OEMs, which incorporate its pumps into their end products, and through an extensive network of market segmented distributors located throughout the United States.

All of our products share a common foundation in the Company's core engineering and manufacturing competencies. We convert raw materials (aluminum, copper, steel, and plastic) into highly engineered components (cylinders, shafts and pistons) that are assembled into prime movers (motors) involved in fluid handling (water, refrigerant) which are used in products that improve health, safety, and convenience

While most of our products are robust and designed to last for 10 to 20 years or more, they are constantly improving within constraints of sound, cost, and sustainability. The balance between these constraints is critical to maintain so that consumers are encouraged to replace their existing products with new generation products that are friendlier to the environment.
